The number 3 isn’t always bad news. I remember in the old children’s fable Goldilocks and the Three Bears, one porridge is TOO hot, the next one is TOO cold … but the third porridge is JUST RIGHT. Same in The Three Little Pigs. The first two pigs only can build bad houses out straw and sticks, but the THIRD house is built out of everlasting bricks.
Why would you want to know about the past? It’s already happened, there’s no changing it.
The present? You’re already experiencing it, no new info there.
The future. If the future is fixed it doesn’t matter if you know because it’s going to happen regardless. If it can be changed then you’re not really getting a glimpse of the future only of a possible future which is meaningless.
