Is Lisa saying that the economy does very well when people are dying? That is the republican way.

Lisa wants us to think that the virus surge is a natural phenomenon, like a wave. She doesn’t want us dwelling on the fact that the surge is man-made, specifically made by one traitorous, criminal con-man.

In failing to keep us safe from the virus — failing in ways that no other advanced industrial nation has failed, including those who got off to poor starts but then recovered (like Italy, France and Spain) — Trump has also failed to keep us safe from economic catastrophe.

And now, Trump and his accomplices in the Senate, are doing everything in their power to obstruct any effort to save real Americans from the tragic consequences of the criminal negligence.

In contrast to the bumbling, inept Republicans, Democrats in the House had passed a recovery bill to protect REAL AMERICANS — working people, not billionaires and corporate elites — more than two months ago. It has been languishing on Moscow Mitch’s desk ever since.

The last that I heard was that was unlikely to happen in any decent amount of time to save people from getting thrown out in the streets. Apparently the Trumplicans in congress are arguing with the deranged fool in the WH over items; all of this before they even start talking to the Democrats.

This administration has instituted a rescue plan for the really big money people.

I keep seeing big blue waves in some cartoons . . .hmmm

Is that Lisa the Trump Disciple’s way of saying that Trump is absolutely incapable of developing a plan of any kind to respond to the virus?

Trump and the Republicans’* plan is to LET ’ER RIP!

Goons, tax cuts for the rich, LIES, insults and name calling, voter suppression, Treason — the total tool box of Republicans*. None of those tools works on the virus.

Don’t count on it. Grim Reaper McConnell can’t steer enough of it into family kickbacks in Kentucky.

Sending kids to school is like people going to Home Depot. Only problem is people don’t shop 5 days a week 7 hours a day!!

No obstructions now that the swamp has been cleared up..

Our committee is made up of the smartest and best people – even some scientists and Doctors – they are working very hard and it will be released in two weeks. Some of their ideas are things that have never been thought of before – amazing.

Once again, it’s going to be up to a Democratic president to rescue an economy (Great Depression, Real Estate meltdown of 2008) steered onto the rocks by a Republican one.

A plan? Wouldn’t that be socialism?

But Lisa, you and your boss said it was a Democratic hoax. What are you worried about?

As the death toll rises, our government in Washington has demonstrated a remarkable lack of ability to “rescue” anyone from anything – even from themselves. Denial and delusion are having their predictable consequences.

Lil’ Donnie turned his back to the shore, closed his eyes and stomped his feet, shouting: “There are no waves!” “There are no waves!”

They have and we (you) are already seeing the results.. and surprise.. filtering the data through Washington was all it took. One wishes they had started that months ago and all this mask nonsense.. social distancing.. shutting bars and beaches would not have been necessary.

So even Ms. Benson is tired of waiting for the White House to become effective?

In LisaWorld, she either blames the Democrats or “Washington.” It can never, ever be her party’s fault.

You people are so hard on the president. He just told us a couple days ago that they (whoever they are) are working “strongly” to develop a strategy. And, after his second round of golf in two days, he had to cancel his gig throwing out the first pitch because he is just so very busy being chief executive. Give him time….maybe Jared can help. He can fix anything!

Accidentally, Benson reminds us of #45’s dysfunctional, incompetent Administration!

Plan? These people are like characters out of Lovecraft. Like some highly developed Venus Flytrap they turn toward whatever seems to be the light, and start responding by rote, clamping up and down, open and shut, with no other stimulus except ideology and fear. They don’t eat a lot of flies, but they do make a lot of noise and scare the hell out of the other plants.

House Democrats pass a bill way back in May. McConnell & the Senate GOP said we didn’t need another bill & retreated to their homes for two months, while the rest of America worked on the frontlines or worried about how to pay the bills. Now, that it’s clear coronavirus isn’t going to ‘just go away’, they are looking at half measures & ways to steer cash to donors, DHS goons & gouge Medicaid.

It’s not ‘Washington’ that’s the problem.

Republicans don’t care at all, that is why the country is sick, broke and out of work.

Apparently we will have to wait for a Dem admin before the country will take the covid crises seriously.
