Edda is with Juliette at the E.R. Admissions. The receptionist asks: "Date of birth....month, day, then year, please." Juliette sits in a chair, bent forward and moaning. Edda asks: "My mother sits before you in obvious need of immediate medical help, and that is all you can do?...Does nothing else spring to mind?" Juliette is bent forward and moaning. The receptionist looks up at Juliette. Juliette has fallen out of her chair and is moaning. The receptionist says to her: "...Oh, and I'll need two forms of identification."
