I was 2 months old, my Uncle was there, and later wounded at the Battle of the Bulge, as was my father-in-law. I “played” in ’Nam, my son in Iraq and elsewhere. We need to go back too having real REASON to go to war.

Last summer I attended a military vehicle meet, at which many veterans attend. As I walked through the parking lot, I saw dozens of bumper stickers, that said “This is not the country I fought for”

Regardless of whether these wars were just or not, all veterans should receive respect, especially those brave souls on D-Day.

Well, thanks to my Daddy’s influence, I got in the Guards and din’t have to go to war at all. And then, when I got bored, I just skipped out.-I didn’t go off to France, like some cowards.
