Snort. Even the snooty vintners have caught onto screw tops. Cork quality has degraded so badly (over-harvesting) that they needed viable alternatives, and the screw top is an excellent one. The plastic cork is no longer a good idea, as it enrages the environmental crowd.
Both screw top and plastic corks do not need regular wetting down to stay sealed, so wine bottles can be stored upright and take up less room, too.

I just make my own, “bottle” it in 5 gallon kegs, and keep it on tap. No cork, no screw top, no plastic cork…
