Oh, you mean THOSE kinds of reservations. Perfectly reasonable for mousies.However, with my Junior, the mousies need no such reservations. A little mouse strolled across the floor directly in front of him, and he only watched.

Good morning. Little Hoppy, my foster with the hurt paw, is coming along nicely. He’s starting to put a little weight on it now and then. He chose this morning (2:45) to figure out how to get up on our bed to sleep on my chest. Because the bed is so high, he had to go from the floor to the bench to the bed but he managed.

He’s quite the little chatterbox, too. I don’t know what he’s carrying on about but I wish he would keep it to himself!

It’s 4:20, Brad just left for work so I’m going back to bed.

I wish you lived in California, I really want to adopt a male gray kitty and am having trouble locating one!! Perhaps there is some siamese in Hoppy’s background that would account for the middle of the night talkies

Next time you go to a restaurant and they ask if you have reservations, say “Yes, but we decided to come here anyway.”

Love the photos today! My guys have no reservations whatsoever about food – they’ll eat anything I give them. They’re not fussy at all.

Jessegooddoggy: We don’t live in CA now. We’re in southern UT, just 2 hours north of Vegas.

Ahd, he doesn’t chatter just in the middle of the night. It’s when ever his eyeballs are open!

I talked to Susan this morning to see how Rory is doing. The answer was great! She even lets her out to roam the house and so far, no problems with her two kitties. The temp is supposed to go up to the low 70s this week so she’s going to call Gail about getting her to the barn.

We had such a good adoption weekend that we have just 2 cats in the shelter right now, and one is going to Leo, a very nice man who takes in the hard to adodpt ones. The other is a sweet declawed girl found wandering in the area next to our neighborhood. She even has a collar but no tag. I put her pic in our community letter (online) hoping someone would recognize her. That was Friday and no calls. Her holding time was up on Sunday so she will go to PetCo on Fri if not reclaimed or adopted.

So glad to be back home after watching Super Bowl (yawn) at mother-in-law’s.Ruth, WELCOME BACK!!!!

Great pics today and I LOVE Hoppy, The Late Great Toshie was a chatterbox too and we had lots of late nite conversations. I do crosswords before I go to sleep and I would ask her the answers and she would reply. I also always read her the lost column and tell her that those kitties didn’t come in when their mommies called them! I miss her so much.

Thank you all so much for the welcome back. Got up at 6 this morning and fed the kitty’s and when Mr. T and the Ladies went back on the bed for an after breakfast nap, I joined them and didnt get back up until 10 am. That is really not like me at all! Got too much to do to sleep right now. I HAVE to go to the grocery or the cats are going to rip out my jugular when the Sheba and Fancy Feast are all gone. Will try to write more about the trip soon, and be back to posting pics asap. Got to “untire” myself though so be patient with this old lady. – lol – Great pics and posts today and Queenie, you are still one of my hero’s!

jessegooddoggy: where in CA are you? Our friend has a house here and in Rancho Palos Verdes and she goes back and forth. She does fostering for several groups over there, too.

I love the bun bed. Am going look around online to see if I can find one.
