Super lightweight / junior welterweight. They shouldn’t be fighting together if the match is sanctioned.

Wonder how easy it would be for Wally to even make a punch that isn’t below Phil’s belt.

Conversely, is Phil even going to be able to swing low enough to reach Wally?

Maybe Wally will be so fed up by their posturing that he’ll decide he has nothing to lose so he’ll just “go for broke” and give Phil the beat-down he deserves?

How is Phil undefeated? Oh right he’s never fought “inside”the ring. So I guess that’s technically correct.

If he is that tough how could he get his rear handed to him earlier?

I suspect that the ref may be a wee bit biased.

Remember that in a past story, when Wally was sent into a room on a mission to kill Captain Flask, the outcome was utterly unpredictable (and utterly brilliantly told).

I wonder what they’ll call this match in the history books. Probably “The Throwdown in the Thunderdome”.

Could Wally be feigning his despair? True, he has reason to, but the same reason could make him VERY angry.

I wonder whether Holly will show up and tell Wally to get his tail in gear or whether the lizards will just piss him off to the point where he decides to REALLY make this a fight.

The Great Lizard Hope? The race based rhetoric reminds of the 1936 Olympics in Berlin Germany.

it is so amazing when people loudly declare their racism, in our world you’d have to hit up a klan rally to hear this kind of talk.

Lee was a point striker. His speed was what made him good. You could not react to his action. He aimed at points of nerves on the body which when struck with impact stun those areas. Solar plexus is one, carotid nerve at the side of the neck, these were long ago learned about the body. However in a punching match with a boxer Lee would have problems as his target does not present itself as defined by type of martial art stance. There was some time ago on Wide World of Sports an exhibition fight between at the time one of the best karate masters and a professionally trained boxer. The boxer won. Even watch the MMA stuff now….all you hear is Jujitsu, Karate, Kung Fu, but watch them fight….they all use the boxing stance to strike and punch…..its when they go to ground the holds and such come in.Lee’s ability was his speed and knowledge of the proper response to your form of fighting. Every part had a move and a counter move. I learned to let you make the first move then counter you. Don’t get me wrong for his size he was a very strong fighter but you would stand a better chance of taking a Lee punch over a Tyson punch. Remember its weight and speed that produce the power.

I’m still hoping the dittoes or something comes to the rescue……. maybe Sarah will have change of heart…..maybe Jim mutated into a large lizard capable of doing major damage. Maybe I’ll wait to see what happens……..

I’d feel better about Wally’s chances if he didn’t tend to get beaten up so often..Also, it looks like Endtown has reached 100 patrons! This must be some kind of a milestone.

You are right, he was very strong for his size and very, very, accurate in his placement of the punch like I mentioned. Even Tyson got knocked out once. Like citr92 pointed out its all in the hit and specifically where it is placed.
