Good Lord above, we do not even know if she is going to actually run for the POTUS in 2016. But, seeing all of the vindictiveness of these conservative editorialists I certainly would not blame her for just dropping the whole thing!
Hey, I just had a very wicked thought for the ultra right wing condervatives here and elsewhere. Hillery, drops her run, and the people of this country then elect a real middle class fighter such as Elizabeth Warren. Imagine just what that would do to such as the FOX followers. My Heavens, what a mess when all of those heads explode!!
For several reasons, Hillary is getting well past her sell-by date. Elizabeth Warren would be fine, but she really, truly doesn’t want the job (smart woman!) and is indeed probably more effective right where she is. The one I’d truly love to see run, and who’d be killer in a debate with any TeapubliKlan, and who’d know exactly how to use the bully pulpit of the Presidency, is Al Franken. Your choice for VP.
Yeah this was a totally unnecessary and to be expected self-inflicted wound on Hillary’s part. No one to blame but Hillary-land this time and I am steadfastly always on the left.
@Robert Landers:1) She’s running, announced yet or not, just like Chris Christie, Rand Paul, Scott Walker, etc.2) Toles is definitely not conservative. He is skewering a public figure in desperate need of a good skewering.3) Elizabeth Warren is not a viable candidate for many reasons, not least that she doesn’t want the job.@Frank:Are you drunk?
I’m a hard core liberal who has never voted Republican in my 40+ years of voting. I wish the whole Clinton family would go away forever! It’s not just the Repubs who are sick of them.
Mrs. Clinton is not my favored candidate for a number of reasons. People who want power for its own sake, like her and the entire Repuglican Party, are not to be trusted. Her comment during the 2008 primaries about staying in the race because someone might assassinate then-Sen. Obama was one of the most offensive things I have ever heard any candidate say. Her husband is a born politician, a great campaigner, and was a good president. Hillary, not so much. That marriage has always been a business arrangement to further their respective ambitions. He can’t run, so it’s “her turn.” Not a wise choice.
Good grief, how could she have done this? How could she violate a sacred tradition that goes all the way back to the very first Secretary of State, John Kerry?
After getting a good chuckle out of the ‘toon, I thought, "Unfortunately, she’s right". But, lord, is there any better example of why many Democrats have the attitude, “A pox on both your parties”? Not the emails,my only concern there is the incredible negligence of insecure communications. No, I’m more concerned about warmongering corporatism. It’s no prettier from a Democrat than it is from a Republican.
