and as for “world-class superstuds like Taylor Lautner and Jake Gyllenhall” - Robert Mitchell, Sterling Hayden, Burt Lancaster must be having a good laugh as what passes for manhood in our zany time.

Sterling Hayden – now that’s a guy I’d love ta go drinking with! I’d love to hear about his time in the Marines – one of the few Marines in the ETO – and with the OSS. Semper Fi, Brother.

@babka - I don’t know who Robert Mitchell is. Perhaps you meant Robert Mitchum, who usually portrayed very manly men! As for going out drinking with him, I don’t think I could begin to keep up, even in my best years.

I just made Chocolate Babka last week; the recipe makes 3, 9x5 loaves. Most is in the freezer.
