Multiple, informed, authoritative and learned sources seem to believe rather firmly that there is more than enough actual proof to indict Trump on multiple charges but for some weird reason I suspect it will not happen, if it were the GOP they most certainly would had the Dems done this, so weird.
As an inner circle member, I’m sure Ivanka and Jared know more than they’ve testified so far. If evidence suggests they knew about the planned coup but alerted no one to stop it, indict them and put pressure on them to roll on dear ’ol dad.
Ivanka is probably the sanest of trump’s kids, which is not saying much. My guess is she would just like daddy to go away, permanently, and stop him from ruining all their lives with his deranged talk and actions. Whether daddy goes to prison or six feet under the ground, either option would be acceptable to her.
Michael Cohen: ‘Donald Trump is the greatest grifter in the history of the United States’
From Big Lie to Big Rip-off: The Trump campaign’s fundraising tactics are in the spotlight this week after the January 6th hearings exposed a fake “Official Election Defense Fund” that raised $250 million to pay for legal fees to overturn the 2020 presidential election results.
Trump accused of ‘revving’ up the Jan 6th crowd into a ‘murderous rage’ by former DOJ official
“Then Trump goes out to the crowd i and pretends it is all up to Pence,” he continued. “‘If he does it, then we are okay. Otherwise, I will be very disappointed.’ He knows that Pence has already decided, but keeping it open like that is designed to induce the murderous rage in the crowd, when they do you find out.”
“Then it is as a surprise that absolutely inflames them,” he continued. “And we have testimony that we have heard from the DOJ, that it was no joke. They were ready to tear him limb from limb. So Trump placed this dishonestly in such a way to rev the crowd up to its maximum level of violence. Really sinister.”
Liz Cheney is winning the ‘Trump is unfit’ war: conservative
“I’m about ready to pronounce Liz Cheney the victor in the January 6 committee hearings,” McCarthy added, “Congresswoman Cheney has been very effective in relating the committee’s blistering case against the former president.”
Adding that, like Democrats, “Cheney wants to keep Trump at center stage,” McCarthy suggested that she seems to be banking on the belief that: “If she could command the attention of the country for a few days in June, and present what happened as it has never been aired before, in a series of tight, well-scripted sessions, she could hammer home Donald Trump’s unfitness for office.”
Roger Stone throws Steve Bannon under the bus with accusation he directed Capitol “breach”
According to a report from the Daily Beast’s Zachary Petrizzo, former Donald Trump associate Roger Stone took to his Telegram account on Sunday morning to blame former White House adviser Steve Bannon of ordering the attack on the Capitol building on Jan 6th, reminiscent of the way he used to do “crazy things” in order to “curry favor” with the former president.
Writing that Stone appeared to be throwing Bannon “under the bus,” Petrizzo reported the conservative gadfly wrote, “It is highly likely that [Steve] Bannon really gave the order to breach the capital [sic] and maneuvered patriots into dangerous positions.”
He added, “A neophyte Steve Bannon was willing to try crazy things like this to curry favor with Trump who had a [sic] no interest in Bannon’s bs.”
