Yancey says, "I just feel that if Bill could see Edie… talk to her…" Doctor says, "He wants to be whole. That has been a driving goal for him, something to hold on to. And his sense of time passed is not the same as ours." Yancey says, "But what if Edie can't hold on?" Doctor says, "Tell her." Yancey says, "I gave my word to Bill... not till he says so." Doctor says, "I guess it's just fortunate for Bill that she hasn't got on with her own life." Yancey says, "She has gotten on. But no men have entered it. Bill was a hard act to follow."
