1) If it is not on paper homework becomes a cut and paste away.
2) You the teacher has nothing to prove that the child actually did the work.
3) Fine motor skills needed to articulate the hand are not rehearsed and practiced.
4) If students only see cleanly prepared text they will not have the skill set to decipher script written by hand.
5) The “my dog ate my homework” excuse will be replaced with “I got a virus last night” excuse.
