Doing this the Ben Franklin way, I can think of 5 reasons why going paperless is a good idea. I wonder if there are more than two or three reasons against it. Here are my top 5:
,
1.Use tools of the present to prepare kids for the future.
2. Saves on the use of natural resources.
3 Less expensive for the schools/teachers for school supplies.
4 Fewer books in backpacks, easier on kids’ backs.

Well I guess if it was good enough for Mr. Franklin it should be good enough for me. You asked for more than 3, here are my 5.
1) If it is not on paper homework becomes a cut and paste away.
2) You the teacher has nothing to prove that the child actually did the work.
3) Fine motor skills needed to articulate the hand are not rehearsed and practiced.
4) If students only see cleanly prepared text they will not have the skill set to decipher script written by hand.
5) The “my dog ate my homework” excuse will be replaced with “I got a virus last night” excuse.
