I remember some 50 years ago there was a young politician who got into the game, and after his first term said I’m outta here. He came to the conclusion that the system is irreversibly corrupted… but people will still say “let’s try this guy out”, and next time “that didn’t work…let’s try this guy out”, et al, ad nauseam…….
