    As it turns out, Forbes Magazine, that Bastion of liberal causes, had an article about this very thing. Turns out — and they were surprised by this — the existing infrastructure, without upgrading, could handle the load even if every car were replaced with an EV. I can’t go into the specifics of the article because I can’t remember them, but I did think it was interesting.

    If everyone had one, with the existing power grid, yes… gonna need a lot more power plants, that’s fer sure. (as it is now, during a hot summer, there’s brown outs and rolling black outs)
