For me, the greatest hero of the turbulent fifties and sixties will always be Che Guevara. The world labels him a terrorist, but in fact it was he who liberated Cuba from malnutrition and illiteracy, and made groundbreaking steps in treating leprosy and debunking the myths about it.The myths that set him up as some sort of bloodthirsty massacre master are all false. He was a teacher, doctor, and an incredible writer, and the world lost a real paragon when the CIA had him whacked. The United States will never pay for that sin until the day the Republican Party falls. And with it, all its allies should fall, including the Church and the state of Texas.
