Adam: I know you pooh-pooh the Internet, but I may have landed a book deal because of it. Laura: Adam! That's great! Tell me everything!! Adam: I was in this "chat room" with other work-at-home parents, and one of the on-line moms happened to be an editor at some big publishing house. Laura: So you told her all about the distractions and frustration in trying to write a book while home with the kids? Adam: Didn't have to. She could tell just by the amount of time it took me to answer back.
