    He can’t handle the truth.

Women have no concept of how men feel about their clothes. Throwing out a husband’s old sweater, jacket, jeans, etc. is one of the most hateful things a woman can do to a man.

I tend to agree with StPatMe, but spandex and men should never touch each other.

“I did it because I was jealous…” Good answer, I’ll have to remember that one.

With the obviously new artist doing this strip, I find it no longer interest me. I will be unsubscribing.

Goodbye Eric. terrencestamp says: …but spandex and men should never touch each other.

I myself love touching spandex. There’s nothing like the feel of a firm, female behind encased in spandex.

Thanks for your insight, “first-time poster” Eric.

We’ve read all your posts before and understand your position.

Now honor your word and STOP reading it.

Yup on an echo of doctortoon. I read the comic before but rarely commented and was ready to leave. There were some rough moments during the transition but the strip is much, much better now!

I’ve publicly apologized for judging this strip too harshly when it made the switch a few months ago… there really is no comparison now.

It’s eye-opening to go back and read the strips before the switch. That’s when you really notice the difference in quality.

I agree doctortoon, shortly before the switch I kept thinking ‘one more theme week and I will leave’. Now I’m glad that I stuck with it. There was an adjusting period where the art was a bit wonky but I like how it is now and the strips are just so much better now.

whatever else he is (one shot poster) Eric Lilius has a lower account number than almost all of the regular posters besides Tigger.

I have to admit I almost gave up on the NEW strip (guess I like themes), but now I’m glad that Harrell persevered despite the challenge of trying to draw someone else’s characters. Harrell has put a new life into the strip.

To all of you people who think the new Adam is so great, you are all wrong and Eric Lilius is right. The new Adam SUCKS. I missed the transition, and so did not know that a new cartoonist had taken over. I had noticed the change in the appearance of the characters and could not figure out what had happened to a strip I loved until I looked it up and found out here. The worst change is the characters’ dialogue. It used to sound natural, exactly the way family members would speak to each other. Now it’s stilted and clearly set up to achieve one-liners. What an absolute disappointment. Brian Bassett used to perfectly portray the interaction of two long-time married spouses, the family stress of dealing with quarreling kids and never-ending housework, and Adam’s work-at-home ennui. Now the strip just feels fake, and I feel like I lost an old friend. BYE, NEW ADAM. I’M SORRY YOU HAD TO GO. I’LL BE MISSING YOU…

NEWADAMSUCKS: Go away troll. if you’re such a big fan you would have noticed TWO MONTHS ago when it happened.

Now actually stay away this time, instead of saying you’re going to stay away amd making a new post under a new name.
