Laura: Why did we get up so early? Adam: We have to beat the traffic. Laura: We could have waited until lunchtime and there wouldn't have been any traffic, either. Adam: Oh, where's your sense of adventure? Laura: Safe and warm in our bed, where it will sleep for another three hours.
We also started early, stopped for breakfast at rush hour, then called it quits mid-afternoon to avoid evening rush hour and take advantage of the hotel pool.
