He’s NOT being a jerk. He’s trying to work. If he doesn’t do his work, he doesn’t get income, then his family is in trouble. It’s called PRIORITIZING what needs to be done. However, if the kid has said as mightaswellbe suggested “Dad, the toilet’s leaking” then it would be ok… but to wait for the 4th yell is annoying.
