What is this girl scouts and cookies thing? Must be something from the USA.

Any group that is set up in front of a store gets the same answer from me.

“I’m here to shop. I’ll check out what you have, if I have any money left after shopping. No, I won’t pay with plastic.”

Evidently she does!

I’d love to buy some Girl Guide cookies, but they only have two kinds up here in Canada.

I used to avoid them by saying, “Sorry, I don’t carry cash,” but now the little buggers can take plastic. I’m a slave to Thin Mints.
