Not so sure I am comfortable with Grandma sitting there reading the paper. Even if she didn’t know Agnes was in the box for the last two hours, it would be a lot less neglectful if she were working on letting Agnes out. Yes it’s a comic, not real life, but if we can draw inspiration from one character in the strip, we can also be disappointed in the character of others in the same strip. (What’s good for the goose is good for the Grandma, sort of thing).
