I would have made him put a lip lock on the stem and fill them up again. But blowing a .08 in the tire might make the van float.

At least he lowered the floors. It would be then easier for him to get in. And since the van can’t move, he then wouldn’t be going to the cells.

My father’s uncle was a cop. We were in Ireland and met some people from their hometown. One guy told Dad that when he was a teenager, he and his friends annoyed Uncle Frank, then took off. Frank got out of his new cruiser and left the engine running to chase after them. Some of the kids doubled back to the car. It was winter, and they filled the back seat with snow, cranked up the heat, and locked the doors. That’s not a story Uncle Frank ever talked about!
