Panel 3: Deep in the sea, robot eyes scan Doctor Dark’s sunken submarine – and robot ears record the ghastly beating of his evil heart -Thup-thup! Thup-thup! Whirr! Whirr!
Panel 4: — as Red Rover hovers overhead.“Very clear signals!”
“Not a breach in that vessel anywhere! She’s sealed up tight!”
Panel 5: “Kamkaze crew, eh? Dutifully put their tub down — then settled in to starve….”
“Or swallowed poison perhaps — All for the greater glory of Doctor Dark’s immortality…”
Panel 6: “But I don’t understand why the Russians are sitting so far off the hulk.”
“You’re right, Admiral! You’d think they’d be right on top of her!”
