I did some grilling last night. But then again I live in Florida and it was in the 50s. Still cold for me, lol. To all up north, please be safe during these cold winter months. Leave the year-round grilling to us professionals, aka Floridians.

Arlo probably didn’t have any plans to grill today, but it’s important to keep your options open…

Good plan…best Xmas dinner I’ve ever had was cooked on an outdoor grill during a heavy snowfall in Anchorage…

Mmmmm, snow. I miss snow. We haven’t had a decent winter in 4 or 5 years now. Bare mountain tops in January mean dry, burning forests in May.

We live in Florida. My wife’s family are from Minnesota and Wisconsin. We of course are going to watch Green Bay vs. San Francisco. Love to rub it in that we are the only ones having grilled Brats and cold beer. And it is getting colder there.

Nope, the strip ain’t up in east-central WI (at 10:50 CT), where we’ll watch a bunch of people freeze to death while watching or playing the Packers game at 3:40 or so. Cul de Sac has made it on ok.

Well, I’ve checked in at 8:10 p. m. CST (never can keep it straight whether it’s “savings” or not, but think it is and don’t feel like Googling) and see that A & J still isn’t on 1/5. I did check Google and went on the arloandjanis.com site, and even it didn’t show the 1/5 strip. Didn’t get an honest-to-goodness newspaper today, either, because it was too cold to venture out for just that. Maybe I can ask my husband who just got back to St. Pete from India to save today’s Tampa Bay Times if he has it.

I got it in my newspaper: There’s a big snowstorm. Janis is on the sofa with a hot drink in one hand and her cell phone in the other. Arlo is looking out the window. Janis holds up the cell phone facing Arlo and says “spoiler alert!” and Arlo holds out his open hand indicating he doesn’t want to see what’s coming next. Since this was drawn awhile ago, it is amazingly timely this week.

I’m thinking the Packers called JJ up to back up Rogers in case he got hurt, hence no strip for the 5th.

Thanks for the report, LuvThemPluggers! Also thanks to Jim Gracey for reporting that A & J is still running in the paper newspaper universe. Just looked on my good old Tampa Bay Times site, which uses Universal/UClick to run the comics, and their A & J is the same thing we see here. The MKE Journal-Sentinel’s Comics Kingdom doesn’t list A & J. Feh, I’m tired of looking. Keep warm, everyone. At 10:00 a. m. here, it was -15, feels like -45.
