Umm, Arlo wonders why???

Janis probably wants to get the old juices flowing. Maybe Arlo will get lucky with a little fantasy role playing.

Janis is practicing the oldest subterfuge of all: hiding in plain sight. Now, she can feign innocence because she has been open about Vince and saying that they were just friends. If this were a real-life marriage, Janis would be the one to end it.

uh-oh…that last comment doesn’t sound good…and judging by the look on Arlo’s face, it didn’t sound good to HIM, either…

Thanks to the posters who reminded me of Faye, Arlo’s old “office wife”. If I recall, Faye was having marital troubles, which could explain her attraction to Arlo at the time. I do miss the small glimpses into Arlo & Janis’ lives outside of the home.

Which is worse: having your feelings hurt by someone intentionally, or having them hurt due to someone’s complete indifference and lack of caring?

Which one is Janis guilty of? Obviously she either has NO CLUE what she just did to Arlo, or she has a clue and simply doesn’t care. Either way, what she did… that stuff HURTS.

Never understood this. If effort was made to treat your spouse with the attention you lavish on an old ‘friend’, your marriage would flourish. BUT it takes TWO to make it work. I viewed my husband like a good cold drink on a hot day and followed his ‘appetite’ faithfully but he couldn’t stop looking at the blond down the road. I asked him what he wanted from me and then complied but he still wanted to chase around. Sad. Now he misses me.

Arlo’s appearance in today’s second panel, especially his expression, is the same as yesterday’s second panel.

Vince is clearly the Alpha Male (yesterday) and Arlo needs to learn his proper place now.

I’m beginning to dislike Janis. A couple of weeks ago she was wondering if the drone belonged to the hunky guy and now this. Someone needs to set her straight.

I can’t believe she said that out loud. Even the densest husband would know that she has more than friendly feelings for Vince.

@Dr McCoy – you’re right about the second panel. They are both almost the same in the third panel too, except for her arm and of course his eye. Shades of Disney.
