Arlo: Millions of containers come into this country every year, filled with goods made in other countries. Arlo: Very few of the empty containers are used to export our products to the rest of the world. Arlo: The container excess is problematic and expensive for shippers, so why not recycle them? Arlo: Besides, there's a symmetry there if you think about it.
I’m not sure I understand the point. Maybe it’s that all the inflowing goods mean outflowing money, and the decreased wealth in the US makes tiny housing more appealing?
