Arlo should still get a tool box so he can find things when Janis is not around.

Next time, Arlo, take your own advice: “That Ol’ Grill will last one more season”

Two things that a guy has to have to feel like a real man: a pocket knife and a tool box.

Ordinarily I don’t notice things like this in comics, but Janis is more shapely today than she was yesterday.

That’s not what he wanted. He really wants a Phillips vodka and orange juice.

That’s a skill taught to women by a secret woman society to make men look bad. Or at least that’s what my husband claims when I do that. :)

The blue handle on the Phillips screwdriver was a good clue for Janis.

Charcoal is the only way to cook. If you was gas, stay inside.

Most of the home repair projects I do would take half the time if I could just remember where I put down the tool I was just using.

I have to hide MY tools from my husband. He never puts them back where they belong and I hate searching for them.

I know exactly where all my tools are. A pile for everything, and everything in its pile.

My tape measures, on the other hand – I can’t do a DIY job without at least one running off and hiding every few minutes. Right now I have about 9 serviceable ones – that way, when I’m working, by the time I lose number 7 or 8 I’ve usually found a couple of the earlier ones again…

Reminds me that my mother (raised on a farm) was the one who fixed everything in our house!
