Every now and then, Arlo likes to play Pepe Le Pew and chase Janis around the house. (Making her do all those dishes – The skunk!)

Well, the down-on-her-luck socialite has to pay somehow, doesn’t she?

Some roleplay fantasy is better than others.

Cut the guy some slack, before the night’s over he’ll give her a big tip

Kinda reminds me of a bad (and old) joke….

Usually stretched out long…. but for a shorter version:

Guy sitting alone in a bar…. notices an ample blonde woman in a low cut dress giving him the eye.

He returns her gaze.

She moves to the stool next to him, leans toward him, and says, in a throaty voice… “Lonely tonight?”

“Yes,” he says, truthfully.

She leans closer still, and whispers in his ear…. “Listen. Just give me $200 and I’ll do anything you want.”

“Anything?? Promise?”

“Yes.”

So…. he opens his wallet, hands her two $100 bills.

Leans toward her and whispers…. “Paint my house.”

And just exactly what does the dishwashing machine do?

Making dishwashing sexy spoils the joke. The point is that what he said suggested to her that she playing the poor socialite would offer sex instead of money, whereas he chose to have her pay off her imaginary restaurant bill by washing the dishes he’s shown bringing her. His apron shows he did the cooking but has foisted the clean-up off on her.

I would have expected the club owner to have given the choice: Do dishes or do “it.” If Arlo only wanted Janis to do the dishes, he really blew it; Janis obviously would have chosen “it.”

There’s a thing called a washing machine. You should try it.

You know, Janis never complains about his cooking, just the cleaning up. I assume there is an agreement between them regarding cooking and washing up. But, as is the norm, Janis still will complain. So, Arlo always allows her an “out”. Wish I was as crafty; would have avoided a lot of arguments.

So many people that understand what she’s saying… but don’t understand the joke.

I believe she was expecting a little more excitement in the role play…
