I do the you pick every spring. I always end up with more than I intended to pick. I make strawberry bread and freeze it to enjoy all year. Cut up the rest and eat them on ice cream, froyo or just by themselves. About another 6 weeks for south east Virginia.

Strawberries usually start here next week. The best berry stands are up and we drive past them daily hoping for the first fresh berries.
