I’m about to binge watch “Game of Thrones”. So far I have not seen one episode and want to watch what everyone else has been talking about.

If you aren’t cool by now, Arlo, you never will be. Give up and join the rest of us never-cools.

Yeah, that’s what I thought about cigarettes in high school. Thankfully, I got over that.

You’re old enough to not care about “cool”. I was uncool when being uncool wasn’t cool.

I am not a binge-watcher; I tend to start doing other things after the second episode.

Apparently, it takes more than that.

In the ancient days before streaming, if I wanted to watch The Sopranos, I had to check out the DVDs from the library, and then I had a week to watch a whole season. I had to house-sit for my parents, who didn’t have a DVD player then, and then I had to help a friend to move. Between doing those things I had to go home for an hour on a sunny day just to get in an episode of the show, then leave for the next thing. I don’t see why anyone would intentionally binge a TV show if they didn’t have to.

When laziness becomes coolness, you know the end of the world is upon us.

We binge regular TV. Everything we like is “DVR’d” and watched at our convenience. And….as a bonus….fast forwarding thru commercials saves us one-third of the actual recording time.

Well ,back to mundane chit chat.

Arlo has always been a cool dude.

I cannot binge watch TV series even if I really love the show.

When Netflix was a new concept – getting DVDs in the mail – our oldest thought we would like it and gave us a gift subscription. We introduced the younger kids to Jeeves and Wooster

Problem is that we don’t have time to sit and watch a lot of shows in a row. I have a problem in general in actually watching TV – HD and my eyes do not go together and per my ophthalmologist the problem is not unusual. Right now I while online I watched episode 4 of “The Spanish Princess” on free per view and have on an episode of Arthur & George on PBS. I will remember a minimum of what happened on each show. I sort of listen and every now and then look up. It mostly just serves as noise so I don’t crazy from the noise in my ears.

We own an extensive library of DVDs and also Beta and VHS tapes to watch. We rarely do so.
