If the universe is inclusive of everything there is, how can there be more than one of it?
Having said that – husband and I are starting to believe in rifts in the time line due to something changing things in the past. There are things that we both know – separately and so definitely that are not what they were. Just one example and it is a silly thing – in the movie “Touch of Class” which we have seen numerous times in theaters, on TV and on Beta & VHS tape has a scene in which Glenda Jackson goes to neighbors to borrow some oregano. She pronounces it each time as “or E gone oh” as opposed to “ore egg an oh” as we would. It was this way in the movie theater, it was this way on the Beta and DVD tapes, it was this way on TV – we both found the difference to be interesting and even started calling the herb same between each other. One day a couple of years ago we watched it on TV and suddenly she was giving the same pronunciation as we would with a weird insert sort of sound around it. We figured it had been changed. We took our tapes and it was the same there. How could it have changed from what we both KNOW we heard in all versions and continued to repeat to ourselves over the years – rift in the timeline – or if there are other universes – we are in a different one.
