Best to leave til the election has been completed for at least a month. Just before the election, all hell will break loose and everyone will have their own “expert” opinion. Run away while you can.
There is truth there. Many people are easier to get along with if you don’t know them well. The 2016 election left many people disgusted with each other, unable to understand how the other could have possibly made whichever choice was made.
And then there’s abortion and police support and trade with china and assorted religious beliefs and economic theories and proper ways to raise/rear children and correct educational systems and what should be included in said educational systems and….
It might also have something to do with the fact that anyone on FB is a product. All of your actions are sold to outside firms, individuals, government agencies and foreign governments.
Personally I can’t stand FB. To intrusive and I have a hard enough time keeping up with commenters here on GoComics. At least you folks I comment to are fans of the same comics :-)
I went from accessing FB a couple times a day to zero. Not once in the last 6 or 8 weeks. Being a healthcare provider I just gave up trying correct all the ignorant and false information on there, not to mention all the divisiveness over whatever is the issue of the day.
Back in January I made a New Year’s resolution to stop reading comments ANYwhere, as it was raising my BP…REALLY wishing I had stuck with that one… ironically, I just popped over here to GoComics because my head was ready to explode…sigh

I have a couple of friends that I’ve blocked for 30 days more than once. Not enough pet pictures, too much “current affairs”
