    Also, born and raised in the South, moved to the Northwest for awhile and recently the upper Midwest and wow… nothing can prepare you for total darkness at 4pm.

    Usually people are so busy shopping and decorating for Christmas they don’’t have time or are too tired. BUT I notice Arlo and Janis don’t have a single decoration up in the background. Maybe they do have time and should take advantage of the darkness. But the darkness is outside. Maybe they need to enjoy the winter solstice out on the deck.
