That’s a debate my niece and I are into currently. She wants to make all my weekends special. I keep telling her that weekends are like birthdays and holidays – it is just another day!
It does not matter what the calendar say the day is, they are all MONDAYS, under an assumed name. Because you know that many times in the past and many more times in the future, this date has been/will be a MONDAY.
While I don’t drink, I do kinda agree with her today. Tomorrow is the last day of school before the Christmas break! Growing up I never knew the teachers and others (like us custodians) look forward to the break just as much as the kids.
