Methinks our Aunty appears to be an alcoholic.

That’s a debate my niece and I are into currently. She wants to make all my weekends special. I keep telling her that weekends are like birthdays and holidays – it is just another day!

I’ve worked retail for almost ten years…what’s a “weekend” again? It sounds vaguely familiar

It does not matter what the calendar say the day is, they are all MONDAYS, under an assumed name. Because you know that many times in the past and many more times in the future, this date has been/will be a MONDAY.

Thank God tomorrow is Friday!

Advance start on the weekend, Aunty! Bottle in hand with one empty already on the floor.

My weekend begins at 06:30 every day.

That’s why I call it Friday eve.

In a pandemic does it really matter what day it is?

While I don’t drink, I do kinda agree with her today. Tomorrow is the last day of school before the Christmas break! Growing up I never knew the teachers and others (like us custodians) look forward to the break just as much as the kids.

You’re never more than three days from a weekend, either way, future or past…

Once you Retire, Every Day is Saturday.
