The only time in the past year I’ve had a meal out of where I sleep was once in the dining room of the nursing home and here when our cousins came for dinner.
Since Aunty Acid might be the very embodiment of “kitsch,” you’d think think her favorite room would be the “kitsch-in’”. (But since I read her every day, I must be kitschy, too.)
After I left my job, all I wanted to do was sleep. I spent most of the day in my pj’s. Then I was diagnosed with sleep apnea. Even with the CPAP machine, I still felt sleep deprived. After about 3 months on the CPAP, I started getting up earlier and feeling more energetic.
I believe that all those years of running from one obligation to another and never getting enough sleep made me severely sleep deprived. I was lucky and got entervention when I needed it most. I might not be here if I hadn’t changed some things.
Moral of the story… listen to your body. It is trying to tell you something.
I have no commute from my bed to the livingroom as my bed is in the livingroom. When I first moved in here almost 4 years ago my sister also was living with me and it is a one bedroom so I let her have the bedroom, she had a problem with open sapces and with the living room being so big it was effecting her anxiety just sitting in it in her wheeelchair the day we moved in, and the living room is big enough that I also have my desk and computer in there too. When she went into nursing home I decided to stay in livingroom because the bedroom is really too small and I use it for storage.

When I was working remotely my commute was 4.5 miles on foot. I squeezed in my daily walk before I had my first cup of coffee and logged in.

Maybe it’s the stop overs in the bathroom that’s causing the delays. Gotta drain the wine.

I have the same problem. But, I don’t let it bother me.
I just stay up later watching TV to compensate.
