Baby Blues by Rick Kirkman and Jerry Scott for June 19, 2002

When is Zoe gonna be home? Her day camp is over at three o'clock. Is that a long time, or a short time? To a boy with a bad attitude, it'll seem like a long time, but to a boy with a good attitude, it'll seem like a short time. Oh. Who's this second kid you're talking about?
At least Hammie has no delusions about himself, which shows he’s basically a good kid. In “Mere Christianity,” C.S. Lewis wrote “When a man is getting better he understands more and more clearly the evil that is still left in him. When a man is getting worse, he understands his own badness less and less. A moderately bad man knows he is not very good: a thoroughly bad man thinks he is all right.”
