-Yup, brings back memories. I see Hammie has removed the pencils from his nose.

Nothing like turning your shirt inside-out in order to save washing. Bravo, Hamish MacPherson. You are your parents’ only son and your sisters’ only brother.

The teacher’s bound to be impressed by Hammie’s sense of numbers. (That is the way a 5 is supposed to look. Right?)

Hammie just wants his stance to be known right off first day!

Zoe, what if all your outfits clash with your shoes and unicorn notebooks?

Don’t forget the four day old under shorts.

Either that design goes through to the inside of his shirt, or he was able to use the power of cartoon to invert his shirt through four dimensions. I think I like the latter idea better. :-D

My older daughter’s dear Godmother (DG) always took both of my girls back-to-school shopping. I always looked forward to seeing what their first-day outfits would be. She generally let them pick, but had somewhat final say…except the year when my older girl wanted a “Monster High” dress. She got it, but DG wasn’t sure what I would think about it (she’s V-E-R-Y conservative). Once I explained to her what Monster High was about, she felt better.

I saw a YouTube video complaining about the school shopping list where the list included 48 Ticonderoga pencils. Yes, they gave a brand name. And 48 pencils should be enough to last through 12 years of schooling. (Except we used to play a game where we broke pencils against each other.)

In this case I am with Hammie.

Zoe has it all planned out including contingency plans, and yet she will still be 15 minutes late for the first day of school.

Leave it to Hammie the opposite.

Its way to early for back to school. Still got another 3 weeks left of summer.

Boys are so much easier to please…

It is good to be a genius like Hammie.

I never liked clothes shopping. Never understood why I needed new clothes for the new yr when the stuff I had from the previous yr still fit me & was in good condition.

And Zoe will make them late for school because she won’t be able to decide on the perfect outfit, despite her planning.
