There are a lot of adults who’d leave the world a better place if they took a long walk off a short pier, but just being an obnoxious little boy doesn’t qualify. You’ll grow out of it, Hammie.
“Impact” is one of those overused buzzwords I have grown to dislike. I work as an editor and every program, person, etc. that someone writes about is said to make an “impact” in one way or another.
“Challenge” is another overused word. “My biggest challenge…” is a phrase I often see.
“Humbled.” “I am humbled to receive this promotion…” To be humble is a good thing; to be humbled, not so much. Humbled can mean “lowered in condition, power, or dignity; abased.”
People need to broaden their vocabulary, learn new words and the correct use way to use them.

You could make a positive impact by becoming a politician like whatever politician you hate.

Sounds like she wants you to grow up hating women, Hammie. Brush her off as a bully and move on, there are amazing people out there of all genders.

There’s still lots of exploring to do, deep under the ocean, even some remote places on land, and next generation, the Moon, Mars and the asteroids.

I think he did that once and that didn’t seem to make any positive impact at all… :\

A snarky response is so Zoe. A response of “Start by buckling down in school and getting good grades would be a start.” would have been better.
