And tomorrow, they’ll be in the washing machine.

Most elementary schools let kids dress up on Halloween. But leave the stick (sword?) behind.

This thing is boring now will Hammie wear it tomorrow?

Like Popeye would say, “Well blow me down”!

She’ll let you wear it tomorrow

He DOES get to wear it to school on Thursday, Halloween, right?

It’s called hide the costume in your backpack & wear it in school, take it off, put it in your backpack for the way home!

Three strikes and you’re out.

And today is “National Candy Corn Day”, although only dentists like the stuff for the business it brings them

By today, Wanda should have been in Hammie’s room, watching him dress for school.

Hammie, were not looking at a Jaded Second Grader. We’re looking at a block head. If your head was a little more round you could join the Peanuts gang. In fact Zoe would be glad to hold the football for you to run and kick it.

He’s going to earn himself a grounding; no trick or treat for him!

Tomorrow’s the day! She’s gotta let him wear it on halloween!?

Wanda will doubt the message the teacher sends home this afternoon telling her the students are allowed to wear their costumes tomorrow.

Stick it in your backpack. But tomorrow’s Halloween and likely dress up at school. With his luck she won’t let him wear his outfit and he’ll be the only one not in costume.

He reminds me of my little grandson. He is so funny!

Look on the bright side Hammie, tomorrow is Halloween, you still have a chance.

And here lies the spirit of Hammie, broken by the demands of society and motherhood.

Don’t give up, Hammie! I have a feeling that she may let you wear the costume tomorrow!
