That’s right. Martha has been one of our test pilots since the mid 70s. In addition she has contributed many important design refinements.Even retirement can not bring her back to earth.
Reminds me of a old Funk tune from the late 60s.Fly Robin FlyUp Up to the Sky.It can work. Just get the propeller pitch correct and enough RPMs. The real secret in the Wright Bros airplane. The propellers. But without counter rotation I imagine she is going to start friction torquing soon and begin a flat spin.Hope she took her Vertigo meds and is wearing clean underwear for her soon to be visit to the hospital.Probably his idea anyway.
For trimming the hedge that combo does not have enough adjustability. Maybe she is just trying to get Mervin interested in a fly/drive by; he has a good view depending on what she’s wearing or not.
Martha, Martha, Martha. You’ve forgotten to tie the two cords in a knot so it won’t unplug! This must be why shes retired. Pity, with so much that still needs to be done.
Oh no! I told granny not to wear white socks with pink trousers. And to think, she used to be a high class “Working Lady”. I regret letting her hear that Hendrix album.
Whoops! Sorry, Essex ! That’s not one of the high-end cabs from Ballard Taxicab and Polish Food Co. ! Looks more like an illegal gypsy cab that’s been spotted around here. The Sheriff needs to be notified ASAP!
I bet this cab driver doesn’t even know what a “golumpki” is !
I went to the Symphony last night. They did a couple of violin concerti, one by Vivaldi and another by Bach. They also did suites two and three of Handel’s Water Music.(My baroquer is GF Handel.)
Meanwhile…. afternoon, all! And IMudd…. Happy New Year to you, too…and yes, while Ballard Street is closed off to through traffic on Sundays, we all manage to get here, hanging out on the last block…
It would be nice if the street were open….on the other hand, it’s peaceful without a lot of sight-seers.
X … I’ve never tasted the resurrected Acme brews…have you?
Supposed to be really good, and no relation except in name….
but I have not-so-fond memories of when the original brand had been taken over by Grace Brothers…makers of Brown Derby and Dutch Girl….two execrable brews of their time.

Everyone seems to think she is trying to fly.Its actually a failed attempt ti find a faster way to trim that hedge behind Mervin there.

Legs are too shapely to be Martha’s and she also managed to lose everything (even blouse and housecoat).
