From Hadley’s expression, I’d guess that some of that bracing air is coming from the skunk hiding under his porch.

And here I thought it was just tinnitus. Amazing what you learn in Ballard Street.

Well there wasn’t much up there to start with. Except for his toupee, and that looks like it will soon be gone with the wind.

Oh, so here is that great idea I had back in 1991!

After the brainwashing, they are supposed to hang him out to dry.

He probably should go back inside before the neighbors hear the echo too.

This is good, a fresh start. Now Hadley can fill it up with new stuff and become the man he always wanted to be

This is actually a rare “Doppler effect” caused by head shivering. :)

Someone along the line suggested Hadley “keep an open mind” about something, and the phrase alone unfortunately stuck pretty hard.

And suddenly realized he had a thought he didn’t know he had.

Is Hadley experiencing the eternal sunshine of the spotless mind?

Hadley only had cobwebs in his head before. His thoughts kept getting caught in them.
