    Seems as if Barney, as well as many of the upper classes, doesn’t want to hear the criticism that others may have legitimately.

    “…beat up hostile questioners.”.I was told (by drivers who were there) that at an early ‘70s meeting of the NYC taxi drivers’ union, someone who tried to raise a question from the floor was taken outside and beaten up by the security guards.

    I remember, as a child, seeing my dad put his rifle in the back glass of his truck. “Going hunting, dad?” “No, son, going to a union meeting”! Translation: Going to stop some non-union trucks from running union coal! This was in the 50’s!
