Hey, that’s not fair to Star Wars! Several minutes of it was actually pretty good.

Gene kinda dated every woman on the set of TOS, so I guess that’s “good enough” for him.

You forgot to mention both the Star Wars: Clone Wars 2003 series by Genndy Tartakovsky and the 2008 CGI one which had 4-5 seasons at the time of this strip original publication.

The original Captain Kirk seemed to take “Boldly go where no man has gone before” to mean “Leave a lot of half-human babies behind all over the universe”.

    No, no, no!!

Star Trek was one 3-season, tacky, cheesy, wonderful show and 5 movies; Star Wars was one decent movie & 2 increasingly lame ones.

Nothing else qualifies for the names.

All I have to say is this – the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy BBC radio version, Red Dwarf, and heck, almost any Pigs in Space bit.

Strangely enough, Jar-Jar Binks was my favorite character in the whole Star Wars series. He was funny and nutty, but came through when needed..
