I use to have this problem with cats. Growing up my parents always had to pull one out of the tree at once a week during December. At least till we stopped using live trees.

Now I wish I lived out in the country. My ‘Tree’ would be one that had roots. Ornaments would be fruits tied on with simple string. Pine cones smeared with peanut butter and coated with bird seed. And a ‘skirt’ of hay bales. Deer, squirrels, raccoon, and any other critters that wanted to munch – could enjoy. Better than glass and lights I would have to put away eventually! :)

Wolf is not taking it "light"ly, even if it appears otherwise!

One of the throw away Christmas catalogs had for sale a battery operated set of mini lights for bearded guys. . .we ARE nutz . . . imagine some archeologist 2000 years in the future trying to figure out what the hell they were. . .

Reminds me of the bit about interviewing the horse after winning the triple crown, “What do you feel?” “Nothing, I’m a horse.”

Just being helpful. You never know when a sock full of steak may appear. My dogs are getting beef jerky.

It is a shame that more animals do not get into the spirit.

Well, Christmas incorporates the older celebrations of the Winter Solstice, so just the name doesn’t fit the comic theme. Works fine otherwise…

The Post Aopocolypse?Naw. Just a minor inconvenience. The death of Mad Magazine was more traumatic.
