Interesting points of view about BC and AD. There are at least 86 calendars around the world. IF we wanted an accurate date for today we could base it on either the birth of the universe, or the birth of the solar system, but of course we can not know either. We can’t even date the birth of the first human. The lack of a known universal starting point makes all calendar systems relative.
Don’t get your knickers in a wad because someone drops Anno Domini for Before Common Era. Historical theologians still haven’t nailed down the birth of Jesus to plus or minus six years of 0 AD.
