Gesundheit was borrowed from German, where it literally means “health”. As in “Wishing a person good health”? I’m thinking it really meant “Unhealthy” Run Away!! First Known Use of gesundheit was 1914, now that was just before the “1918 influenza pandemic”. So what do you think?
