So if we, at least some of us, know this is the Solar system and the sun is called Sol. Why don’t we call it a “Solset”? I mean really, who the heck decided that the short name for Sol is sun? I suppose, if you want to fight about it, we are in the Sunar system, but we don’t really say that do we?
They have sunscopes, which are specially designed to look at the sun. The lenses are covered with a bunch of filters. You can also use them to watch eclipses
If you want to see the New Moon, carefully block the sun and look near it with binoculars … the moon is brightly lighted by earth-shine. If you accidentally look at the sun, buy a long white tapping stick.
