Washington creates it by forcibly sucking it out of the tax payers bank accounts.

Inflation is an increase in the supply of money and a decrease in the value.

When Macron tried to increase tax on diesel… the people donned Yellow Jackets (les gilets jaunes) and marched through the streets… The people had spoken and Macron capitulated… The tax was removed…

You need to tell your government what YOU want… They are YOUR employees…

You can’t do very much with that thin air of inflation. [You can’t do much with what’s in your bank account – not as much as you used to.]

Wouldn’t inflating mean pumping UP the volume of air in an enclosed space?

So, Deflation is when you create thin air by pushing it out a different orifice?

Well, this is interesting. GC must have altered their page code because using an ad blocker now prevents you from seeing the strip. Opened the page and no comics were visible. After trying a few things, I turned off the ad blocker, there they are. That’s too bad. The ads are intrusive and not worth the hassle.

I’ve heard of over inflation, but I’ve never heard of over deflation. …or even under deflation. “That balloon is over deflated.” said no one. Ever.

The government sells more bonds thus printing money. The country is dangerously close to owing $2 billion in interest per day. It cannot last forever.
